Job – Assistant Manager Tero Restaurant

In order to strengthen our team at Tero restaurant in Saint-Gilles, we are looking for an assistant manager to ensure the smooth running of the daily activities.

In order to strengthen our team at Tero restaurant in Saint-Gilles, we are looking for an assistant manager to ensure the smooth running of the daily activities.


Your responsibilities:

The assistant manager of a Tero restaurant is the right hand of the manager:

  • They share the same vision and he takes operational responsibility in case of the absence of the manager.
  • The well-being of his customers and the respect of our values guide his action so that the experience is renewed with each visit.
  • He/she reports directly to the manager
  • In addition to being a role model, the floor manager must have training skills and be results-oriented.

Your functions : 

  • Operational management: He/she is responsible for the quality of service both in the dining room and in the kitchen in the absence of the manager
  • Human resources: He/she trains and monitors the staff in the dining room and participates in recruitment
  • Organizational management: The manager is responsible for the organization but the assistant manager is responsible for the day-to-day management.
  • He/she is also in charge of or supervises stocks and inventories
  • Hygiene: He/she ensures compliance with HACCP standards and maintains the good working order of his/her work tool
  • Financial responsibility: He/she is responsible for the daily management and control of the cash register
  • Proposal force: His natural curiosity leads him to seek new opportunities to improve and develop the restaurant.

Your profile : 

  • You are driven by a desire and passion for customer service.
  • You are committed to the Tero values (Passion, Commitment, Respect and Authenticity)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience in team management and experience in our industry is desirable
  • You speak several languages (Dutch, English, French) is a plus
