Objectively, it serves no practical purpose: the degree has already been earned, and the diploma could simply arrive by mail. But it\u2019s that moment of looking back \u2014 <em>\u201cLook at what you\u2019ve done. Look at what you\u2019ve achieved.\u201d<\/em> \u2014 that turns years of effort into pride.
